-- Warning! This is a Furry fetish game! Only weirdos allowed. --

Welcome to Stomping Friends, the game where you try to befriend giant furry creatures by not getting stepped on. The gameplay is based on the stomping sequences from the old giantess game "Shrink High".

I'm not sure how to let you fullscreen the game yet while it's running in the browser, but you can zoom in with ctrl + mousewheel.

This is the game's first release, so there's only one Beastie to choose from and no extra/side content yet. But feel free to let me know what you'd like to see next!

Instructions

Once you've selected a Beastie to befriend and have been warped in, you'll have to avoid their stomps and collect powerups. The goal is to collect as many Friendship Sparks as possible and then enter the Spark Lighter. The more Sparks you've gathered, the stronger your friendship will be.

Arrows/WASD: Movement

Space/Enter: Select/Enter Spark Lighter

Shift: Sprint (uses Stamina), double tap to instantly recover from being knocked down at the cost of 50 Stamina.

Escape: Skip cutscenes

Your assistant professor will warp in a bunch of extra items to help you out. The hearts heal you for 25% health, the bolts regenerate your stamina fully and the coins increase your money total. Make sure not to die though as you get a money reward for surviving.

When you have made enough money, you can buy upgrades in the store. If you're not happy with the upgrades, don't complain to me about it. You can reset your upgrades in the in-game options menu and get a full refund.

What's Next

For the next update, I'm planning on adding a new Beastie (Fabienne) as well as a new scene for Blanche. A few other quality of life features will be coming soon such as a downloadable version, updated presentation and a (gasp) pause button. If you're interested on seeing further updates, make sure to let me know!

This game has potential. As a furry and foot fetishist myself, I approve.

Just one question though, will there be any male characters to befriend in the future?

There's no plans at the moment for male characters I'm afraid, I've just got a personal preference for the ladies.

Really liking it so far, I love the art and being able to get alternate outcomes with the spark is a great idea that if a gallery feature was added in the future I could see myself collecting them all ^^

Having a gallery is a great idea! I'll keep it in mind for the future.

My goodness, a giant game with stomp minigames that has of-age characters AND furries? Not to mention it is well made and actually has a sense of humor? It's genuinely a miracle!

Seriously, you have a great start here! Blanche is a fun first giant, Olive is an adorable dork of a PC, and with the latest update you have fixed my one complaint about the tracking being a bit too laser precise. I'm especially interested in seeing how this develops, given it seems the perfect mixture of "unaware" and aware content. Not to mention, it's nice to see a bit of gentle stuff mixed in with the cruelty based on how the three star friendship event ends! Fantastic work all around!

Thank you so much!! Your comment means a ton, I'm honestly not very confident in either my writing or my art so I'm glad that you could enjoy it regardless.

Yeah I definitely wanted to go for a silly/lighthearted tone, since you can't really take a fetishy stomping game like this too seriously. I hope you'll like Fabienne when she's out! Here's a teaser: if anyone thinks the game's already too much of a grind, do not get caught under her hoof!

I'm going to be straight with you: your art is amazing, and your writing is on point. Take this as someone who enjoys writing themselves: having levity mixed with genuineness can make even stilted writing very enjoyable. And your writing isn't stilted at all. It's good. You clearly are writing something that you enjoy at lot, and poking a bit of fun at it without getting too hard into Marvel Meta Humor. It makes it rather heartwarming, honestly.

And I cannot wait for Fabienne, she seems fun! I'm definitely gonna keep my eye on this. Out of curiosity, shall this involve only big gals, or will guys be involved too? I enjoy both, so I'm simply curious.

The only feedback I can currently produce is that the knockdown mechanic feels a bit odd. Every time you are knocked down, it gets harder to get up. I understand that on principle, but given it already gets harder to dodge, it feels like it could be tuned a bit. My suggestion would be to make the time necessary to get up tied a bit to the current amount of stamina you have. The more tired you are, the harder is to get up. This adds greater emphasis on ensuring you are not just wasting stamina, especially once your speed is high enough you can outrun the paw without sprinting easily.

I can't thank you enough for your kind words! I certainly do have a vendetta against the type of writing that's associated with Marvel, where it feels too cynical, like you can't get invested into the story because the characters themselves don't act invested or take things seriously. So that's something to avoid for sure.

I'm 95% sure I'll only feature giant ladies, it's simply my own preference. But there's no certainty, my preferences like to change.

About the knockdown: You're right that it doesn't feel very good. I like the idea that the longer the fight goes on, the tougher it gets, the more resistance is thrown your way. But needing to mash is never really fun. And I haven't made it very clear in any of the instructions that you can double-tap Shift to get up instantly at the price of stamina.

I don't think I'll tie the recovery requirement to how little stamina you have left, since it's already harder to get up with low stamina because you can't rely on double-tapping Shift. But regardless, if you or anyone else has any other suggestions on how to improve the idea, I'd be happy to consider it.
